we celebrated every year on 12th january at his birth anniversary  " swami vivekananda jayanti " is celebreated on the paush krishna paksha saptami , the 7th day after the full moon day.

 swami vivekanada was born as narendranath datta on january 12,1863.

 swami vivekananda was an indian hindu monk. he was a key figure in the introduction of the indian philosophies of vedanta and yoga to the western world . the 150th birth anniversary of swami vivekananda was celebrated all over india and in different countries in the world 

 it was in 1887 that he along with other disciples of ramakrishna paramhansa took formal vows of sannyasa and renounced the worldly pleasure.
THEME

the theme of 2016 was = " indian youth for devleopment , skill and harmony" 
the theme of 2017 was = " youth for digital india "
the theme of 2018 was = " sankalp se siddhi " 
the theme of 2019 was = " channelizing youth power for nation building " 
VIVEKANANDA DIED =39 year ( 1863-1902).
