      guru govind singh 10th sikh guru was born in patna,bihar,india on december 22,1666 his birthday somtimes either in december or january or even both month in the gregorian calendar. the guru's birthday is based on the nanakshahi calendar. the birth anniversary of guru govind singh is being celebrated across the country on thusday 2, january 2020 it's an auspicious day for sikhs world wide , who offer prayers and take out processions.
he became the sikh guru at the age of nine following the demise of his father , GURU TEGH BAHADUR , the ninth sikh guru.
